Midwestern ASsociation of Plastic Surgeons

The Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons (MAPS) was founded in 1961 to foster the development of plastic surgery in the Midwest region of the United States. MAPS involves plastic surgeons and plastic surgery programs in the States of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Our Mission: To promote research and support education in the field of plastic surgery. This mission is accomplished though our annual meeting which provides a vehicle for scientific interchange and networking attended by plastic surgeons, nurses, researchers and guests who are involved in plastic surgery.

The Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons (MAPS) is also a vehicle to recognize achievements in research and education and to promote collaboration between plastic surgeons throughout the Midwest.
